98ɫ���� is one of BC's Top Employers 2025

This is the first time that 98ɫ���� has been recognized as a . The designation recognizes the top 100 British Columbia employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

“We are proud to be recognized as one of the top employers in B.C.,” says Dr. Lane Trotter, president of 98ɫ����. “Camosun is comprised of incredible employees who demonstrate dedication and support to students, the college community and each other.”

Camosun has approximately 1,400 employees including faculty, support staff and administration.

The that led to 98ɫ����’s selection as one of the top employers are:

• 98ɫ����'s extensive health benefits plan includes a generous mental health practitioner benefit, to $3,000 annually.
• 98ɫ���� employees can take extra time off for educational or personal needs through education leave or unpaid or self-funded paid leaves of absence for up to one year.
• 98ɫ���� hosts an annual Conversations Day, where employees are invited to take a day away from work (in-person or remotely) to discuss a range of topics with guest speakers, break-out sessions and departmental level planning.

, now in its 20th edition, is an annual competition organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc., which also organises the annual competitions for , who every year recognises companies that excel in recruitment and retention.
